The CincinnatiUSA CVB's Fam Tour, short for Familiarization Tour, began at the Duke Energy Center, where the guests were treated to a tour of the convention center on Segways. There was a brief Segway orientation and then every one was off.

Retreat into Apathy by Mark Steyn on National Review Online

Retreat into Apathy by Mark Steyn on National Review Online:

Mark Steyn today:

"In the Province of Quebec, patients with severe incontinence — i.e., they’re in the bathroom twelve times a night — wait three years for a simple 30-minute procedure. True, Quebeckers have a year or two on Americans in the life-expectancy hit parade, but, if you’re making twelve trips a night to the john 365 times a year for three years, in terms of life-spent-outside-the-bathroom expectancy, an uninsured Vermonter may actually come out ahead."

CHCA performs Into the Woods

A couple of weeks ago, CHCA High School brought the theater community one of their greatest productions, Into the Woods. As always, the young thespians were incredible. Susan Jung is to be commended for the wonderful directing she gave the students. And, Troy Bausch outdid himself again with the technical piece. This was some of the finest lighting I have seen.

Enjoy the photos!

Walnut Hills JH performance of Willy Wonka

The junior high students of Walnut Hills will be performing Willy Wonka this weekend, beginning this Thursday. Be sure to check out these talented kids. If any of you have ever seen the Willy Wonka with Gene Wilder (was Gene Wilder, right), the young man playing Willy sounds just like him. He's wonderful.
